We keep it simple. Here's exactly how our 0% in-house payment plan works so there are no surprises down the line.

• You must be 18 or over and a UK resident.
• An £800 first payment is required to get things underway. This can be reduced on request - speak to us before you sign.
• You'll sign a written in-house finance agreement with HGV Academy before training begins - it sets out your payment dates, amounts and totals in black and white.
• The remaining balance of your quote is split equally across the following months.
• Payments are made by standing order or bank transfer on an agreed date each month.
• Your first payment covers the medical, D2/D4 forms, theory test bookings and your theory revision kit.
• The rest of the course - driving lessons, driving test, reversing lessons and test, CPC Module 4 revision and test, and any extras - is released once your final payment has cleared. This means the in-house plan takes longer than paying in full or using external finance.
• You can pay the outstanding balance off early at any time to reach the practical stage sooner.
• Late payments incur a £50 fee per missed payment, as set out in your signed agreement. Repeated missed payments may pause your training until the account is up to date.
• Struggling to pay? If you're experiencing financial trouble and can't make a payment or pay on time, let us know as soon as possible - we'll do our best to work with you and find a way to keep your training moving so you still get your licence.
• The first payment is non-refundable once your medical has been booked and your theory kit has been accessed, in line with our standard terms.
• This is a private payment plan, not a regulated credit agreement - it is not reported to credit reference agencies.
• 0% in-house finance is offered at our discretion and can be withdrawn if the agreement is not kept.
